Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their award-winning global accommodation supplier team. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with partners to grow existing and new business. This role requires extensive travel within the sales area and attending conferences within Singapore and possibly internationally.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote our company to educate partners on the full use of our product and website.

  • Oversee sales pipeline within your region, ensuring that new business acquisition and existing account development targets are met/exceeded.

  • Build strong product expertise and provide training & ongoing support to partners as required.

  • Create an effective business development plan and strategy to drive growth for your dedicated region.

  • Represent our company at conferences and events.

  • Accurately report and analyze weekly/monthly/yearly sales data to our customers and disseminate the required data internally.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management.

  • Experience working with travel agencies within Singapore is essential.

  • Knowledge of retail booking systems and tools highly desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer satisfaction mindset.

  • Proficient using MS-Office tools, CRM tools, and internet savvy.

  • Good knowledge of the Asia travel market.

  • Excellent in research and analysis.
