The Company
We are looking for an experienced business development executive at senior level based in Germany for hotel technological systems. Out client has connections with over 2,000 hotels globally and offices around the world. This software solution covers the back-office part of hotel operations from Operation Management to Gateway & Voice to Engineering to Guest Services.
Its area of expertise includes billing services systems, voice-mail, customer operational call centre, optimization solutions, integration to various iOT, to a wide variety of mobile devices in the market today and a host of other applications which will serve a large variant of hospitality clientele in the world today.
The Job
The Sales Director takes the reins of the Sales and account management activities in Germany.
His or her main responsibilities include:
To be the vanguard of the company’s sales effort
Ensure the maintenance of good business relationships with key clients, deepen software solutions offering to all International Chain Hotels and develop new business opportunities within the hotel industry
Deepen the channels and enhance the management processes for all products
Spearhead the growth & development of the company’s business by representing the company at the highest level
Lead and manage the business profitably
Executes a plan which will generate more revenue from existing clients as well as develop new clients
The Person
Experienced in the hospitality industry with knowledge of hotel operations
Hunter with an outgoing personality and like networking/socializing events with hoteliers
Deep understanding of the German market and have sufficient contacts (owners/Channel Partners/System Integrators/Hotel senior management team and Chains Management companies) in wider Germany
Handle the entire sales process from prospect to closing of the deal
Understand hotel technologies and able to pick up new technologies fairly fast
Speak fluent English and German, suitable for this market will be a plus
Numbers driven and is solely focused on achieving the revenue and profit targets on overall accounts
Good client relationship management skills to ensure continuous maintenance of client relationship even after sales is completed
May be overlooking other neighbouring countries depending on experience
Candidate should ideally be located in city of Munich or other key cities in Germany
