Director of Sales

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our client as a Director of Sales for a world-class landmark deluxe property in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a significant P&L and possess exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a portfolio of accounts in the stipulated marketplaces

  • Maintain account files per established standards and procedures

  • Understand business mix of the hotel, identify need periods, and take proactive sales actions

  • Participate in sales road shows/blitzes, and attend trade functions, trade shows, promotions, and events as directed

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of commercial experience

  • Experience working in Asia is a MUST

  • Previous successful track record in managing a significant P&L

  • Highly numerate and commercially aware

  • Solid understanding of business finances including producing revenue and cost budgets

  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated with energy and drive to achieve and exceed demanding goals and targets

Day-to-day:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, identifying business opportunities, and participating in various sales-related activities. They will also be involved in maintaining account files and taking proactive sales actions to drive revenue.
