Revenue Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a Revenue Manager to join our client's Revenue Management team. The Revenue Manager will be responsible for supporting the hotel management in defining revenue management strategy, analyzing hotel performance, optimizing pricing and distribution, and fostering a "RevPRO culture" within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in reservations sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Hotel Management and Director of Revenue Management in defining the hotel strategy for future periods

  • Analyze hotel results and performance, survey the market and competitors, and run scenarios to determine optimized actions

  • Make daily decisions to optimize hotel turnover in terms of pricing, inventory management, group quotations, and distribution channels

  • Maintain and optimize reservation systems with accurate tracking and delivery of rates to all distribution channels

  • Spread a "RevPRO culture" in the hotel through the animation of weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions

  • Provide coaching and development for the Revenue Management team to support career progression and growth

  • Cover responsibilities for the Director of Revenue Management when out of the office

  • Pricing and distribution loading across all systems and tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in reservations sales

  • Strong working knowledge of RMS, PMS, or distribution systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills

  • Customer and commercial focus with a team support and development mindset

  • Multicultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse cultures

  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively

  • Self-motivated and energetic

Day-to-day:

The Revenue Manager will be responsible for analyzing data, making pricing decisions, optimizing distribution channels, and fostering a culture of revenue management within the hotel. This role will involve working closely with the Hotel Management, Director of Revenue Management, and the Revenue Management team to ensure the hotel's revenue strategy is effectively implemented.
